Waymouth & Ward Homecare are an agency who introduce self-employed carers to their private pay clients on a live-in and visiting care basis.

Our discerning, private clients are looking for dedicated and hardworking live-in carers who are experienced, compassionate and companionable, to help them remain in the comfort of their own homes.

Are you able to offer the following?

• Provide assistance with daily household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, ironing and organizing.
• Prepare meals with healthy ingredients and from scratch.
• Run errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions.
• Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and engage in conversation and activities with the client.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or well-being as appropriate to the client's family.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients in a compassionate and respectful manner.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Drivers licence required
• Up to date certificates in care
• DBS

Job Type: Full time

Pay: £137 - £163 per day

Need to commit for 8 week placements

Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience: 1 year in a care home or home care environment 

Language: English (essential)

Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required)
